The heart of our Creator is at rest.
Let's join Him in this New Testament reality.
When my husband and I were first saved, the Lord began speaking to us about holding an intentional day of rest each week otherwise known as "honoring the sabbath." As we read through the Bible, we saw two markedly different realities when it came to this, however, divided by the old and new covenants that God made with His people. So we sought Him on how to best keep the sabbath day holy, while avoiding falling into a trap of legalism.
Preparing Sabbath is part-devotional, part-cookbook, and it shares the decadent truths we discovered as we began to keep the sabbath each week. Filled with scriptural depth, practical application, and prayer prompts that will engage your spirit, this book truly sets out to do what the title suggests: prepare readers both spiritually and practically for the sabbath day.
